Got this lot from Give Up Art, a wicked company who i've followed for a while now. this is my 'start anywhere' beginning point. the company is in a league of its own (within the category of music-related design) in my opinion, for the following reason: in an age where every fly posted promotional piece of material on the walls appear cluttered, unorganised and unprofessional, Give Up Art began producing super sharp, clean, bright posters/flyers that stick out like a sore thumb amongst other mundane promotional graphics. the 'why not?' image is a prime example of their aesthetic success.....without displaying any information viewers were spurred on to investigate, and following this the first ever Why Not? night was completely jam packed with people, a proper sellout. That's a result in anyone's books..
the apple pips poster also is the most beautiful and professional design i have seen in my life, massively underrated as a piece of work because the lack of people knowing about why this company exists
